Tiffany, Mezzo-Soprano, began her musical journey on the Mississippi Delta, and during her childhood she was a member of an all girls choir, school band playing flute, and performed in local musical theater productions. In high school, she was accepted into the All-State Youth Choir and received full music scholarships to both Jones County Junior College and William Carey University in Mississippi to study vocal performance. While at Jones, she was a part of multiple performance groups that toured throughout the Southeast, Midwest, and Carnegie Hall. She also played the musical theater roles of Maria in “The Sound of Music” (2002) and Jan in “Grease” (2003). At William Carey, she continued to study voice and perform with various performance groups. Tiffany was also a member of Delta Omicron, a professional and honorary music fraternity.
Prior to moving to Austin, Tiffany, husband Trae, and their 2 young children lived and worked in Memphis, where Tiffany taught private flute, piano, guitar, and voice lessons for almost a decade. She was a member of the Memphis Symphony Orchestra, the Memphis Women’s Chorale, and a section leader for the Christ the King Lutheran choir. She would also frequently play and sing with many talented local musicians, performing everything from jazz to The Beatles.
After moving to Austin in 2015, Tiffany has taught choir at Veritas Academy in south Austin. She is also a member of Texas Chorale Consort, which was recently nominated for a 2016 Austin Critics Table Awards in Choral Performance.
As not only a performer and educator but as a parent as well, Tiffany has great passion to instill a life-long love and appreciation for the arts into her students through private lessons. In her free time, Tiffany enjoys playing board games, cooking, and hiking with her dogs and family.
Today, Tiffany teaches piano and voice lessons at the Pfluger Rock School of Music for quality and affordable music lessons, guitar lessons, piano lessons, voice lessons and more in Round Rock and Pflugerville, Texas.Back to Classes & Teachers>
