Danielle Ibrahim began playing piano at age 7 and French horn and trumpet at age 11. She grew up in a suburb of Detroit, Michigan, where she studied French horn with members of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra as well as piano with a number of well-known local teachers.
Danielle earned a Bachelors of Music from University of Michigan and a Masters of Music from Indiana University. She has performed with a number of ensembles in Michigan, Indiana, and Texas including the Michigan Pops Orchestra, Southern Indiana Wind Ensemble, Bloomington Symphony Orchestra, Austin Symphonic Band, and Cedar Park Winds.
As a pianist, she has played for churches and musicals, participated in the National Guild of Piano Teachers auditions and Solo and Ensemble festivals, and played piano as a soloist and accompanist in a number of recitals. She currently teaches piano lessons at Austin and Round Rock independent school districts as well as private piano lessons at the Pfluger-Rock School of Music serving Pflugerville and Round Rock.Back to Classes & Teachers>
