Jacqueline Coleman grew up in a South Louisiana town called Slidell, which is right over the twin span from New Orleans. In her childhood, Jackie participated in many choir, band, and musical theatre events including community theatre productions and school choir and band programs. She went on to attend college at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, LA majoring in Vocal Music Education K-12 and minoring in Music Theory. During her time in college, Jackie participated in the Chamber choir – the University’s primer ensemble – and Women’s Choir. She also had the chance to travel and compete with these ensembles in the Laurea Mundi Choir Competition in Hungary. Outside of school, she was a singer and cantor for the Immaculate Conception Minor Basilica in Natchitoches, LA and sang in the First Presbyterian Church of Alexandria, LA.
Jackie is a member of a professional music fraternity called Sigma Alpha Iota where she served as both Secretary and President of her chapter. During her free time, Jackie likes to binge watch K-Dramas and spend time with her dog Luca.Back to Classes & Teachers>
