Christina Wikman began formal music studies at age 5 on Piano, and started her the Cello and Violin career at the age of 11. She continued her music studies throughout her childhood and teenage years performing with the Waldorf Sinfonietta Orchestra and the professional Nashua Chamber Orchestra under the direction of David Feltner.
During her early adult years she continued her Violin, Cello studies with Elliot Markow, Concert Master with the New Hampshire Symphony Orchestra and professor of Music at both the University of New Hampshire and the University of Massachusetts at Lowell. Elliot Marcos is a disciple of Jascha Heifetz.
Christina began teaching professionally at the age of 14. She is an extremely dedicated and highly motivated teacher devoted to the success of her students. Christina is fully equipped to help each student, from beginning to advanced, to play skillfully and develop a passion for the Piano, Cello and Violin.
In addition to teaching at Northwest, Christina also teaches at the Austin Waldorf School.Back to Classes & Teachers>
