My family has been taking music lessons from Northwest School of music for about three years. My son takes piano, clarinet and electric guitar lessons and my daughter takes acoustic guitar lessons. All of the teachers that my children have had so far have been amazing musicians, patient teachers and great influences. Kathleen gives personal attention to each family remembering little details that make the kids feel important. The school itself is inviting and friendly, with art supplies and a media room for younger siblings. My youngest child is anxiously awaiting the time when she is "big enough" to play an instrument.

We have had the most positive experience at Northwest School of Music. His teacher has not only taught him how to play the guitar, he has allowed him to explore and challenge himself while making it so much fun. It is incredible what my son, Brett has learned in 3 years! The school has also been very welcoming to my younger daughter who has to wait around every week for her big brother. They offer movies, books, and coloring, which keeps her very entertained. She loves going too!! It is a warm and friendly environment. We absolutely love Northwest School of Music.

First I want to say how much my children enjoy learning and playing music because of their experience at Northwest School of Music.  We have been with the school for over three years, and from day one Kathleen and her musical family have been accommodating and understanding of our busy family and schedule.  They are extremely professional and create a welcoming atmosphere for parents, siblings, and students.  They go above and beyond to make learning music stress free and fun.  No stone is left unturned, and that is most evident at the Christmas and Spring performances.  Not only do the students get to showcase their talents, but you get to see how talented the teachers are.  You won't find a better school for any child that is interested in music.
